Tonites title is the question of the day. Where are putting those candy dishes and snack trays? Are they in or on your desk at work or on the coffee table by your favorite recliner??? Are they some place where you can quickly and easily grab them in a moment of weakness? So why am I getting in your face with personal questions tonite? You know exactly why I am d;^}
Just making those bad cheater foods harder to access distance wise is going to pay off large dividends in our warfare on your waist line. So head up... move em out!!!!

Now lets talk about beans. They are good and very good for your bod! You should be eating them at least 3 times a week. They are high in fiber and also very filling so its a great way to invest your carbs on.
As Forrest Gump and his friend Bubba would wax elegantly about Shrimps. Bobby will do the same with beans: Black beans, baked beans, green beans, pinto beans, navy beans, great northern beans, garbanzo beans, red beans, white beans, kidney beans, pink beans, lima beans, brown lentil beans, yellow lentil beans, red lentil beans, black eyed peas, green split peas, yellow split peas.
You can resurrect that Crock pot that everyone has and no one ever uses. Throw them beans in the pot, let em simmer all day and come home to a healthy salad and bean dish dinner. This fits perfectly into our mean green regimen. And puts you smack dab in the middle of the sweet weight loser zone.
I lost 50 lbs by just learning how to eat right and excercising. Im 54 years old and in about the best shape of my life. I'm a Paramedic Firefighter by trade, but I would like to use this blog to "life coach" others to conquer the battle of the bulge.

- I've tried other diets and only had temporary results... Yes I tried the low fat one and "the zone" but now I have just stepped out on my own independent quest. This coupled with the fact that my doctor said I was borderline diabetic and needed to start taking Metformin has motivated me to take better care of myself for life.
