Flight 77 to Control Tower- requesting permission to take off on Runway 03...
This is Control Tower- roger that... You have permission to take off on runway 03. The path is clear and may you fly safely with God's speed to reach your destination.
Wow there is so much ground to cover today that my head is kind of reeling right now. I will have to split this out into at least 2 postings so check back for more info this evening. This is the day that you have been so patiently waiting for. We are actually going take off in this jet plane and start flying. Now the pilot does very different things during takeoff than he would be doing when he is up flying in the wild blue yonder. If he tries to give the plane too much lift too quickly, he will stall out the plane it will loose its lift and it will become a crash landing. We are going to implement our take off strategy that will be a little different from what we are doing once we are airborn. It will involve you only committing to do 3 things this week. I will talk more about this either later in this post or the next one. We will not be actually counting carbs yet. I am going to give you a week to start looking at food labels and I still need to educate you about your carb budget and about the foods that do not have any labels on them.
In the last post I laid out how to count carbs, now I need to help you understand what your budgeted amount per meal and per day will be. This is indeed a bit of a tricky process because each one of you has a different zero balance where you are "carb neutral." There are a myriad of reasons why this is the case and the complexity factor is quite high. Its kind of a bell curve scenario but kind of not at the same time. There is also a significant difference between men and women. So I am going to lay out 2 separate "carb daily budgets" Sorry ladies you end up on the raw end of the deal here. No I'm not a sexist pig.... that's just the way it is. This budgeted amount is going to be well below the zero point for a large % of people,so if you follow the plan, you will be making significant withdrawals from your Wells Fargo.
WOMEN:
Breakfast- 4 Carbs
Morning Snack- 1 Carb
Lunch- 4 Carbs
Aft. Snack -1 Carb
Dinner- 4 Carbs
Eve. Snack-1 Carb
MEN:
Breakfast- 5 Carbs
A.M. Snack- 1 Carb
Lunch- 5Carbs
Aft. Snack- 1 Carb
Dinner- 5 Carbs
Eve. Snack- 1 Carb.
See how easy this is to remember. For me personally, this was such wonderful news- I could easily manage how I could process complex dynamics and boil it down to something that is doable. Now you can too and I have accomplished one of my major objectives for you WWWHHOO HOOO!
