So lets talk about the biggest loser tv show.
We love to see the really fat people sweat and groan to shave off those unwanted pounds. Its competition in its rawest form. Put up or shut up, deliver the goods or go home. Entertaining?... Yes. Visual results?... Absolutely. But what about long term results? My perspective is that there is not going to be a good outcome. This is total Will power in a competitive environment. It could well be a failure bomb ready to explode, which is exactly what we don't want to do. We are going to get into exercising but not right away. I would like to focus on nutrition first and get you trimming your waistline and feeling stronger. If you are working out already thats great but if not, dont sweat it. (Get it... the pun)
The T.V. show shows little to absolutely nothing about nutrition which is tragic. It must not make for very good T.V.

This coupled with the fact that my doctor said I was borderline diabetic and needed to start taking Metformin has motivated me to take better care of myself for life.
