So have you ever heard someone say? "I tried to lose weight and it worked for a little while but I just lost the will power and gave up." Could that someone be you? Well that someone was definately me.
What I want to do here is to help you to understand that this blog and my approach is not going to be about just beefing up your willpower to stay on track.
So this plan does have some willpower involved. I would being lying if I said it didn't, but I will also say that willpower will only involve about 10 to 15% of your approach. 85 to 90% of this is about using your Brain power. We are going to get ourselves edumacated here :)
If I give you a fish, I feed you for a day,,, if I teach you how to fish, i feed you for life.
I lost 50 lbs by just learning how to eat right and excercising. Im 54 years old and in about the best shape of my life. I'm a Paramedic Firefighter by trade, but I would like to use this blog to "life coach" others to conquer the battle of the bulge.

- I've tried other diets and only had temporary results... Yes I tried the low fat one and "the zone" but now I have just stepped out on my own independent quest. This coupled with the fact that my doctor said I was borderline diabetic and needed to start taking Metformin has motivated me to take better care of myself for life. My peak weight was 209 and my current weight is 158. I would like to share with you how I did it and how you can do it too!!!
