Building Upper Body Strength



So we haven't talked about building upper body strength yet. And yes-sir-eee Bob it is high past time that we do something about that.


For some reason yours truly has been a little lax in this area. I have been focusing on Cardio and core strength while being very hit and miss in building arm and shoulder strength.


This week I have made the commitment of getting more serious upper body and have been doing push ups and triceps pull down and extensors. I am doing 3 sets of 30 push ups daily, with the goal of getting to 3 reps of 50 in a few weeks.



Ladies, you too can and should be introducing upper body work outs to your routine as well. You can do modified push ups and lift light weights to build muscle tone without bulking up the biceps.
